The Role of The Toronto Scottish Regiment Pipes and Drums

The role of the Band is to provide musical support to The Toronto Scottish Regiment.

The Band operates with the kind permission of the Commanding Officer (CO), in conjunction with the Regimental Sergeant Major (RSM).

The Band performs at various Regimental functions including, but not limited to:

- Change of Command Ceremonies
- Commanding Officer Parades
- Remembrance Day Church Services
- Regimental Association (Veteran) Events
- Regimental Dinners
- Warriors’ Day Parade
- Canadian Forces Military Ceremonies and Parades
- Other functions as requested by the Commanding Officer

The Band is a non-competing band, and performs at public events representing and promoting The Toronto Scottish Regiment to the community at large.

Such public events include:

Community Parades and Events

Charitable Events
- Others functions that promote The Toronto Scottish Regiment
 
and expand the Regiment's "Footprint in the Community"
